2.2 million people work in Britain’s
construction industry, making it the country’s biggest industry.
It is also one of the most dangerous. In the last 25 years, over
2,800 people have died from injuries they received as a result
of construction work. Many more have been injured or made ill.
Oakland Contracts’ principal aims and objectives are:
- To improve occupational health in the industry
- To foster co-operation between our employees and those who
work in partnership with Oakland Contracts
- To ensure continued health, safety and current legislation
training to meet with needs of our staff and sub contractors
We strongly believe
in moral obligation to protect and care for everyone on board,
our attitude is total commitment to providing a healthy and safe
working environment for all our employees and others affected
by our works.
